Job Description

Skills and duties:

The available roles will require the skills noted below and may require some or all the duties noted depending on the role as there are multiple positional available.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students visiting the office.
  • Manage the awarding and distributing of scholarships and scholarship notices, at times acting as a liaison between departments.
  • Return to Title IV evaluations.
  • Be able to meet individually with students and discuss finances and financial aid.
  • Have a strong understanding of financial aid processes and programs.
  • Administer and coordinate one or more major federal and/or institutional aid programs.
  • May be responsible for all financial aid programs on campus or in a major academic area.
  • May be responsible for coordinating financial aid records with Data Processing.
  • Advise students, prospective students, and parents regarding financial aid.
  • May recommend policy and operating procedures for financial aid administration.
  • Prepare reports reflecting status of programs.
  • Make need determinations and award aid.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Starting Salary $19.24

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AcademicWorks and scholarship management.
  • Experience working with financial literacy initiatives.
